The Franklin Institute of Philadelphia, PA has just found more or less, permanent visitors hanging around these days. Red Tailed hawks have taken a liking to the place and have taken up residency on the top ledges of the building. As a avid bird watcher myself, I heard this news from a couple I met yesterday at a micro brewery festival and had to check it out. They said there was a web cam of them too but I haven’t found that quite yet if there is one. I just thought that was neat how the Franklin Institute people actually helped constructed a safer structure for the hawks to build their nests.
